It started with my decision to move Pursed Lips over to JournURL.com, largely to take advantage of some blogging/publishing features that aren’t available at section12.com. No biggie; good friend Roger runs both and that transition has progressed just fine. At the same time, I finally got around to transferring my domain name to a less costly host, but while the transfer hasn’t been particularly problematic, it hasn’t been swift or timely. The transfer’s complete BUT the ISP word-of-mouth still hasn’t reached my end and Pursed Lips is coming up null and void.

And here I told everyone to make sure they were using www.pursedlips.com a couple of weeks ago. Yeesh.

For now, I’m going to blog in both places, just in case you’re still using the old section12.com address. If you want to check the new site, use this address. (And, yes, I’ve modestly redesigned PL’s look.) Once all’s square, I’ll be blogging exclusively from JournURL.com in its new Arts community. Check it out and consider bringing your own voice to the place — I’d love to see it explode with activity.

I won’t be abandoning section12.com entirely, however. Once I’m confident that ISPs everywhere can find Pursed Lips, I’ll start keeping my journal at section12.com. I’ll also keep it in its usual format through the end of 2003. Silly me, I can’t abandon this old format until the year’s complete. I’m sentimentally attached to it, what with almost five years(!) of journaling in this format.

So that’s the gist of it. Providing, of course, that you’re able to read said gist. Hopefully, not too many of you are in my ISP hell.
