Yesterday I wrote at length about my adventures in BDSM fiction. Today, I’d like to give thanks to another avenue of erotic writing that has blessed me: Lesbian erotica. Specifically, Sacchi Green’s and Rakelle Valencia’s a latest anthology, Hard Road, Easy Riding: Lesbian Biker Erotica. I’m fortunate to have a story in its pages and over the next two weeks, I’ll particpiate at Massachusetts and New York City readings to promote it.

Dyke smut writing is something I approach with much passion and some trepidation. It’s a form of erotic expression thats inherent to my bi-girl sexuality but, having become entered adulthood when lesbian separatism ran strong and defiant, part of me is forever timid. Inwardly, I’m never sure if I’ll be accepted as is or challenged. But still I write and submit work and whenever an editor finds my work authentic, I rejoice. It is, I suppose, the validation that eluded in younger days.
So over the next two weeks, I’ll relish sharing my biker story with audiences. Hope you can join me.
